Well I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas. We had a pretty low key day. Terry had to be at work that afternoon, so we did presents in the morning and then lunch before he got ready. Nephi had to break his daily tradition and get up early, i.e. 9:00 a.m. instead of 12. We had a lady and her children over that evening and played some games. The week before we went down to Houlton and had a fun evening with the Radatz family. Maine Lobster was the meat of the evening. It was fun, I had never had a whole lobster before, so it was a neat experience. I have added a video that showed what we did before cooking the Lobster. It is supposed to make the meat tender. The end result was the nice red lobster that we all are used to seeing on the dinner table. It was definantly an experience.

Terry is off New Year's Eve and Day!! Tomorrow or should I say today is Terry's birthday so the kids and I are planning a special lunch before he has to take off to work.

Love to all....

Well this last picture that is dark is last night at midnight, you can see the trash can. The middle one is the same angle, but i'm not sure where the trash can is. The first one is me opening the storm door to maybe get out of the house. We might be a little busy for most of the morning. I'm not sure what the inch report is, but it's just a little bit :) I'll try and get more later as we dig our way out, luckly Nicole doesn't have to be at work until 3:00.

It's COOOLLLLLDDDD!!!!

Ok, so it's -24 degrees outside. It feels like -43 (this according to the weather channel!) I am trying to talk myself into taking the dogs outside. I wonder if they can hold it till it warms up :) We are due to have blizzard like conditions tonight and tomorrow. I guess it's a white Christmas for us.

Well I didn't get the job at the bank. According to the lady that interviewed me, she said it came down to to going to the Jr. Vice President and she chose someone else (what that means is that she knew someone else, because I never met the woman). But what she told me was that there are always openings. So we'll see. Nephi had an interview on Thursday so we'll see what happens with that.

Oh it warmed up to -20, so I guess it's time to get bundled up and take the dogs out. Boddy just loves the cushy life of staying inside. The only time Sadie has issues with him is when Terry comes home from work, she feels like she should get his love before Boddy. Brutus doesn't care, he just stays cuddled up on my lap!

Love to all

Ok, this is part two of our family photo! Boddy did ok, but Sadie was too busy sniffing, and Brutus was like "whatever"!

Ok, so I tried to get the snow in the picture as well. But it got down to us or the snow!! This ended up being a warm day it's a balmy 37 degrees, that's why there are no coats! The funnest part was Terry setting the timer and running to his position. Going to make some cards with this so those should be ready soon. Love to all and Merry Christmas!!

Merry Christmas all...
Hey this is the 12 days of Christmas!!! Wow!! Not too much excitment around here, except we got about 5 inches of snow night before last. Spend yesterday mornng digging our way out. We finally winterized the motorcycles, so the batteries are now in the house to keep them warm. After all the ice we had, we felt the need to find the generator and get that prepared just in case we needed it. All the pellets are in the basement. So I guess we are gearing up for winter. Yesterday it did nothing but rain and my comment to one of our neighbors was I can get this in Texas!! But, it helped to clear some of the roads, so I guess that's good.
Job interview went well I think. She said she really liked me and my sence of humor. I should hear this week, hopefully.
I realized yesterday that this could be our last Christmas together as Nicole turns 21 and Nephi turns 19 this year, all could change. As one of my friends said, "You get to be a part of the rare but coveted 800 club!!" Wow! Can't wait :) So I'm bringing out all the stops, must have a memorable Christmas.

Hello all!!

Well hello everyone! I thought I would give this blog thing a try. I have wanted to email everyone with all the picture that we have, but then it's difficult getting them attached and some are too big...etc. You get the idea.

Life in Maine is wonderful. We are really enjoying the snow. The negative temp is very bitter when you have to go out and let the dogs do there business. The crazy part is seeing how much snow comes down. I'm used to the snow coming and then stops and melts. But it stays up here. Actually we just came in 10:30 p.m. from snow blowing the driveway. I went out to let boddy go potty and all the neighbors were out taking care of the snow, and Terry's philosophy is do as the Maineians do. So we went out and played in the snow.

Nicole started her job at Lowes yesterday and has had a couple of days training. I have a job interview Thursday at one of the banks up here. Nephi is still looking. He has enrolled in the Community College up here and that starts January 12th.

Well I guess this is good for day one. Now to the pictures and such

WELCOME TO OUR BLOG

We hope you had fun getting filled in on our happenings!
